Tech Article 03/19: MacBook

So let's talk about the new MacBook that was announced at Apple's Spring Forward Conference last week. The new Macbook is actually 25% thinner than the MacBook Air which is crazy because the MacBook Air is already really thin. As well as being super thin is has a vibrant retina display. Due to the fact that the Macbook is so thin Apple had change the way they made Macbooks. First off the keyboard instead of using a scissor mechanism which makes the keys little more flappy and flimsy they decided to use a butterfly mechanism that makes the keys more firm and more accurate. Next is the track pad since this macbook is so thin they had to it redesign in which the created the "Force Touch" track pad. This track pad is very unique in the way that is functions since tricks the user into believing that is actually "clicks". How it works is through force sensors which detects how much pressure you apply. The way it tricks you into thinking you are actually clicking is called "haptic feedback". Its a vibration that adds a sense of touch. They didn't just change those things now, the MacBook only has one port that doubles as a charger and a USB called C-USB. Lastly, is the battery. Since it's so small they had to change the battery to battery sheets that has 9 hour battery life.
Starting Price: $1299

Tech Article 3/13: Samsung Galaxy S6 & Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

The Samsung Galaxy S6 has finally been announced, and it's sporting a fancy metal frame and glass front and rear. Some might say it's the best looking Galaxy ever, but the Galaxy S6 Edge might just have stolen that title.- Release Date: April 10- Price: Unknown
Positive:
What's unique about this is that Samsung started using their own processor, Exynos. Instead of using Snap Dragon 8010. The Galaxy s6 is packing a quad hd display. On top of that the camera has a 16 mega pixel with optical image stabilization. Why this is amazing is? Well because now you can zoom in and the picture won't blur and the optical image stabilization makes it 10 times better. Now you can take picture while moving because the lens is actually moving with you.
Moving on to Galaxy S6 Edge for most part its exactly the same as the Galaxy S6 the main difference is the dual edge screen. Yes, the pictures may be misleading but it is a dual edge so that both people who are right and left handed can use it. Now what is the purpose of the "edge"? Well the purpose is to serve as quick way to access your favorite contacts. What's unique about it is the fact that each contact has their own color so when they call or text you that color shines or shows up on the edge. A little perk is that edge can also serve as nice little night clock.
Cons:
-There is no removable battery.
- No slot for SD Cards
In my option none of that matters since battery technology has advanced since back in old days when we had flip phones and change them when the batteries would burn out. And the SD Card. No problem because of you haven't realized there are a bunch of cloud serves such as Google which allows to save plenty of music, pictures, and other content online.

Tech Article 2/12: Kraftwerk Portable Charger

The Kraftwerk Portable Charger is nothing like normal portable chargers. Instead of running on batteries it runs on lighter fluid to charge cell phones. Kraftwerk has a fuel cell setup which just means it runs on either standard camping fuel or lighter gas. That might sound unsafe but in fact it is FDA approved. You can even go to the extent of taking it in your carry-on during a plane ride. Beside it being safe it weighs 160g. It holds up to 40g of gas which can charge an iPhone up to 11 times. On the downside you'll only find one USB port and it's still unknown how fast the Kraftwerk can charge a phone.
